Budget Motor Inn- Stony Point

Great hotel with great amenities like free wi-fi, air conditioning, and 24-hour reception. The staff gave me excellent travel tips on my first stay. I'll be coming back for a Christmas visit!

Everything was fine, particularly good location near West Point on short notice, the store & bank and the tube, accommodating staff. Comforts of queen room with refrigerator and microwave were fabulous.

Big size and cheap room with 2 queen beds and very helpful staff. Marvellous location to Marian Shrine. And near to the store & bank, West Point, and the tube.

cut to the chase, here's my take

This place is a nightmare! The odor was nauseating, and the bed felt uneven and uncomfortable. We were shocked to find the fire alarm ripped from the ceiling and a filthy bathroom with hair everywhere. The level of dirt and neglect is beyond unacceptable. Avoid this disaster of a place at all costs!

The room was clean and came with a tv, Refrigerator and Microwave. There were plenty of stores nearby as well

The bathroom was very cold dispite having the windows closed and the wash cloths were dirty but I was able to change them

It was close to the event in which my friend and I were attending, and resonably priced.

Bathroom had clean fixtures, but the shower curtain was discolored and there was orange mold in the grout. Room included a small fridge and microwave, handy.

The bathroom fixtures worked well and provided clean amenities, making our stay more comfortable.

The rooms could benefit from better soundproofing!!! A thorough cleaning of the bathrooms and furnishings would greatly improve the overall experience!!! Make sure to check for lingering odors before settling in!!!

The area was lively, with plenty of opportunities for fishing and hiking. We even got to enjoy some cozy family meals nearby after our adventures.

My wife says that the rooms need better soundproofing.

The air quality in the room was highly unpleasant, with a strong smell lingering that was difficult to endure. Walls are noticeably thin. Despite this, the bathroom amenities provided clean fixtures that worked well, and I appreciated having a microwave and fridge for convenience.

We enjoyed hiking and fishing at the nearby park. The area is perfect for outdoor activities. Pro tip, check out the lighthouse tours if you're there during the summer. The check-in was smooth, made our start super easy.

We faced a minor issue with a loud AC unit that kept waking us up at night. It's something future guests should be aware of, but it didn't ruin our overall experience.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially with the cozy sofa in the lobby and the free coffee available all day. They offer nice relaxation options like their hot tub and outdoor patio, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't put a damper on my overall experience! ☕

Upon entering, the strong foul odor was immediately off-putting. The bed was not only uneven but lacked basic spring support was great. The bathroom had visible cleanliness issues, including stained towels and dead insects, unacceptable. A single positive moment was the prompt refund offered after complaints, but the experience overall lacked the quality expected from lodging. A peanut butter snack was the only pleasant highlight during this unfortunate stay.
